Over the past 25 years, I've immersed myself in the intricate world of skincare, gathering unique knowledge & expertise. However, the true essence of this journey isn't just about formulations & products. It's about a deeper, more meaningful mission - to uplift & empower marginalized communities using the very expertise I've garnered.
For me, Huemanistry is more than a business; it's a deeply personal 'exit to community' strategy, my way of giving back. There have been moments, not so long ago, when the weight of walking this path nearly made me put everything aside. The challenges of not fitting the conventional mold, of not chasing fleeting trends, or of not aligning with the singular vision of profit-driven expectations of the broader business landscape, often made the journey feel lonely.
But here we are, driven by a vision bigger than any challenge. My amazing co-founders breathed life into this dream when it felt fragile, & together, we're commited to not just crafting skincare, but to building bridges of opportunity.
At my core, I am a caregiver, a caretaker. While I am perfectly content being in the background, my hope is that Huemanistry's impact shines brightly, guiding all towards a more equitable, empathetic world.
